Ola Booking Techniques You Must Know!!!!

The First Indian Cab Aggregator company, Ola has made availing cab services a smooth experience. Owned by ANI technologies Pvt.Ltd and Formely known as ola cabs, Ola was launched in December 2010 by IIT Bombay Graduates.


In this blog, I am going to tell about the two tricks which helped me, while traveling. This trick is used to, reduce my fare without applying any coupons.

The Two Techniques/Tricks are:-

     1. Change Destination point
     2. Book a cab, when no cabs are accepting your ride.

1. Change Destination point:-

------> Open the ola app

-----> Pin the current location 

------> Type your Destination.

After typing your destination check the fare, It's showing low, Good to Go. If it shows a higher price than normal. Then hold the destination pin showing on the map. Move the pin near around the destination place that pin near the destination, check the fare, is it showing the same or less, if the same fare, do it again and put the pin other than the place, you placed earlier. I hope you get the best price you need for the ride.

2. Book a cab, when no cabs are accepting your ride:-

I got this trick when I was at the airport. It was mid-night nearly 12:00 pm. Where cabs were booked. And tried for other private cabs they are asking more fare than usually we pay for ola , Because it was night almost all cabs are out of shift, if the new cabs are coming that cabs are already pre-booked.

What I did is,

----> Opened the app and pinned the destination and the current location. 


----> After that I clicked on Ride later and scheduled for 12:30pm.

After waiting for 10 minutes, I got the SMS that the ride is accepted and will be there in 10 minutes. Then I relaxed for a moment and waited with my luggage for the cab. What next was? is "Wonderful Journey".
